It is possible to set up SynergyXR to use data stored in the customers own Azure tenant.
Some customers might prefer this so all data is stored in their own tenant because of
specific regulatory or compliance requirements.
Requirements
The external data storage solution must be set up when creating a new Workspace in SynergyXR – it is not possible to migrate an existing fully-hosted Workspace to a storage solution in the customer’s tenant.
The storage solution must be an Azure Storage Account (StorageV2 – general purpose v2).
To obtain the same level of responsiveness as the fully-hosted SynergyXR experience, we advise using the “Hot” access tier and the location to be in “westeurope”.
We will need the “connection string” to the storage account so the rest of the SynergyXR system can access it. We will also need a dedicated container to be created in the storage account, and we need the name of this container.
