How do you upload content from your mobile (iOS) device?

You can either upload content directly through the iOS share extension or save content to your OneDrive and upload them from your PC/MAC later.

1. Uploading Content Using the iOS Share Extension

SynergyXR's iOS Share Extension allows for seamless content uploads directly from your iOS device.

  1. Install the SynergyXR App:
    • Open the App Store on your iOS device.
    • Search for "SynergyXR" and install the application.
    • Log in with your user credentials.
  2. Upload Content via Share Extension:
    • Open the file (e.g., a photo, video, or 3D model) you wish to upload.
• Tap the "Share" icon to open the sharing options.
    • Scroll through the available apps and select "SynergyXR." If it doesn't appear, ensure the SynergyXR app is installed and set up correctly.
    • The SynergyXR app will open, prompting you to add tags or descriptions to the content.
    • Confirm the upload, and the content will be added to your SynergyXR workspace.

2. Uploading Content via OneDrive (iOS to Manager)

If you prefer to manage uploads later, use OneDrive as a bridge.

Steps:

  • On your iOS device, save or upload the desired content to your OneDrive account.
    • This can be done from the Files app or any app with a share/export function.
  • On your PC or Mac, open the SynergyXR Manager.
  • Access your OneDrive folder from your computer.
  • Upload the saved files to SynergyXR through the Manager

By following these steps, you can efficiently manage and upload content from your iOS device to your SynergyXR workspace(s).
