Yes, we have IDS/IPS coverage appropriate to our architecture.

  • At the application edge, Azure Front Door WAF provides Layer 7 inspection with custom rule enforcement covering IP filtering, geo-filtering, and rate limiting.

  • At the detection and response layer, Microsoft Sentinel correlates security signals across our environment and triggers incident response.

Because our workloads are cloud-native PaaS rather than traditional VM network segments, a classic network-sensor IDS/IPS isn't architecturally applicable — the equivalent controls are delivered by WAF + Defender for Cloud + Sentinel.
