What is content?

Learn what content is in SynergyXR and how it can be used to dynamically build your training programs

Content is a common concept for all virtual objects stored in a Workspace and which can be dynamically placed in a Space by an Author.

The following types of Content are supported in SynergyXR, and must be uploaded through the SynergyXR Manager

  • 3D models (supported file formats: GLB and FBX)
  • Images (supported file formats: PNG and JPG)
  • Video (supported file formats: MP4 and MOV)
  • Documents (supported file formats: PDF)
There is one additional special type of content, called a Procedure. A Procedure defines a training program containing 3D models, detailed interactions and voice guidance, all embedded in a single intricate piece of content to be placed in a Space. You can read much more about Procedures here.
